MEET CAROL STAATS

6.18.09

Carol Staats has been a long time resident of the NW corner and has vast real estate experience ranging from the ownership of Mannion Real Estate which existed in the 1970's, to the management of a short lived real estate firm that recently departed the Lakeville area.

Living in Falls Village with her family, besides being a full time associate here at my main office, she will have a Falls Village office location, available for Falls Village (and other) residents who wish to privately consult about real estate from that location. Carol will be available at that office location by appointment. That phone number is: 860-824-0027, however her full time number is in Lakeville: 860-435-9891.

Carol brings "high energy" and enthusiasm for this business, and is a great addition, as a knowledgeable professional, to my "high energy", full time operation.

Next week: Meet Peter Houghton.

THE PROBLEM WITH GREEN: AESTHETICS
The question of aesthetics may come into focus if building green becomes the norm for future homes.

Storms have been playing havoc causing power interruptions, fallen trees, and broken branches around the NW corner.

FANS AND LAWNS
The lack of rain made many lawns turn brown. They are not really dead in most cases, despite their appearance.

PRICE CONCESSIONS - MOVING REAL ESTATE
Seller price concessions, if and when 'blessed' with an offer, are helping move most of the sales currently in contract, or recently closed, for homes in this price grouping.

HOT WEATHER COOLING TIPS
With the arrival of hot, sticky weather arriving in our NW corner, cooling tips are in order for those not lucky enough to have air-conditioning, either centrally installed, or from window units.
